Nora turns one
Nora turned one on December 7, and we enjoyed celebrating and eating cake! Here are some of the many highlights...
Reading the card that Grandma B sent.
A favorite new toy - a "cell phone" from Ms. Marlene.
Beautiful cake, thank you Safeway, before....
... and after, a satisfied customer!
Nora is now about 30 inches tall and 23 pounds.... She's started walking and climbing and is always looking for a new adventure. She can sign "milk," "all done," and "more;" she waves bye bye and hello; and she has said "doggy," "da da" and "ke ke" (kitty...). It is exciting to watch as she grows and learns!

Too cute! Thanks for posting these. I can't believe she is standing without help! Is her bday really Dec 7? Why did I think it was the 6th? Let me know and I will fix it in my calendar.
Yes it is the 7th, I mostly remember cause it is Pearl Harbor Day. Otherwise, I would always think it is 12/5 which was my original due date... I can't believe she is standing/ walking/ almost running!!!
It's my father-in-law's birthday too. I always think Nora was born on the 9th for some reason. Callie- I got to see your Grandma and Cousin Gay this week, and we ate at Deal's & Goodman's. I sent them love from you. I love that part of the state. It is filled with good people and nice birds.
