Nora-isms

The more Nora is talking, the funnier it is... she has several "Nora-isms" - what we call the funny little comments or words she says or the way she pronounces certain words...

• "Hippy shirt" = any tie-dyed shirt (see above, which are her favorite items of clothing) or other brightly colored clothes
• "I toot!" = her loud, jubilant pronouncement of when she, well, toots. Usually followed by "I toot more!"
• "Dolly poop, gross!" "Dolly diaper" = one of her many dolls or stuffed animals has "pooped" and has to have their diaper changed. The diaper change involved precise, anatomically correct wiping and re-diapering, which requires brand new diapers and wipes - her dollies DO NOT like cloth diapers. Her dollies poop about once every 5 minutes or less...
• "Big bed - not lily bed!" = our bed, her preferred place for naps is the 'big bed,' while her crib mattress is the 'lily' (little) bed
• "Tah-toe" = the imaginary thing (we haven't figured out what it is yet) that chases her around the house and causes her to leap screaming into our laps (possibly related to tah-too = helicopter...?)
• "I pick nose!" = self explanatory, but it is very important to her to announce this loudly
• "Mama Callie" and "Daddy Greg" = I'm not sure how she learned our names (especially when she thinks her name is Rana or Nona) but she loves to comine our titles and names and it is so cute. Almost as cute as when she called me "Doctor Mama"
• "I DO SELF!!" = the most commonly heard phrase at our house (followed closely by MINE, ELMO, and DIAPER - see above)

ps to Bevo: the fan is a very popular toy (see first picture) and her favorite thing to do is to try sticking various body parts (mostly her's, sometimes the cat's) into it to see what it feels like...
